My name is Haley Harrell. My dad is Dan Harrell and we have been members at Woodmont Hills for years. I have been a part of the YouthReach International Ukraine missions team for the past 3 years…. I have attached a letter explaining my mission in June and would greatly appreciate any help the church can give! I know this is where God wants me to be so I just need some help getting there! I have raised $1,400 and have $600 in hand. My goal is $3,350 and the deadline was April 15. Thank you so much for your time.
Dear Friends at Woodmont Hills,
I have been blessed with another great opportunity to spread God’s love. I have felt called to join a team that will be leading a summer camp in Simferopol, Ukraine this June. This will be my 4th trip to visit these beautiful children and I looked forward to going all year round! I worked at the church’s preschool Minds in Motion for four years and now I’m a nanny for a five-year-old boy so obviously, I love kids! This mission and these children are a huge part of my life. I feel that trying to help these kids is exactly what I should be doing.
Because of past support the team has been able to travel over 5,000 miles to minister to orphans and at-risk children in that city. They were in contact with over 100 children and orphanage staff members….
The Bible tells us we are responsible for the lives of orphans!
What does the Bible say about orphans:
Deuteronomy 10:18, 24:19; Psalm 10:14, 68:5; Jeremiah 49:11; John 14:18; James 1:27
This June, Team Sim is returning to help our team mentors establish a summer program in the Detski Children’s home. This home houses 40-50 orphans and abandoned children in Simferopol. I am asking you for your support of the team. Here’s how you can help. I need: $3,350 trip costs – due immediately.
If you would like to donate, checks can be mailed directly to Youthreach International:
1911 Grayson Hwy, Suite 8-344

Most importantly, I need your prayers in order to effectively prepare and co-lead the team. Thank you again for all of your support, prayers, and dedication to the orphans in Simferopol. May you be blessed with peace, hope, and the knowledge that you have changed the lives of the fatherless.
Peace and Grace,
